Portugalia to mój drugi dom. Tutaj mam cudownych znajomych, rodzinę. Jednak to za co kocham Portugalię to świetne plaże, piękna przyroda i miejsca, które zachwycają swoją architekturą oraz kuchnią. Takie jest Faro i Vila Monte Farm House.
Portugalia jest dla mnie jak otwarta księga. Za każdym razem kiedy tam jestem poznaję ją na nowo, odkrywam nowe, intrygujące miejsca. Miejsca, w których nie tylko można złapać chwilę oddechu, naładować baterie, ale przede wszystkim spróbować pysznej regionalnej kuchni. Jednym z takich miejsc Vila Monte Farm House (kliknij TUTAJ) – fantastyczny hotel położony 25 kilometrów od Faro.
Jak sama nazwa wskazuje hotel jest czymś na kształt agroturystyki. Właściciele oprócz wysokiej klasy hotelu, z dostępem do basenów, siłowni, a nawet prywatnej łódki prowadzą własną uprawę warzyw i owoców. Vila Monte Farm House zachwyciła mnie swoim wyjątkowym klimatem. W poszukiwaniu oddechu można udać się na praktycznie bezludną plażę lub zgubić się w labiryncie ogrodów.
Właściciele hotelu ogromną wagę przykładają do zachowania równowagi między naturą, a tętniącym nieopodal życiem dużego miasta – Faro. Na pewno pomocne jest umiejscowienie hotelu w południowej części Algavre, gdzie teren jest surowy i nie zniszczony przez nadmierną ingerencję ludzi. To tutaj znajdowały się kiedyś cudowne, małe wioski rybackie, a mieszkańcy żyli spokojnie i we własnym tempie. Z tego powodu godna uwagi jest Vila Monte. Tutaj czas płynie inaczej, a wszystko dzięki cudownym ludziom i pięknej, dzikiej przyrodzie.
Ten hotel jest na pewno świetnym miejscem, dla tych którzy chcą na czas urlopu uciec od zgiełki miasta. To miejsce, gdzie w restauracji A Terra można odbyć podróż do ludzkich korzeni, do tego co niegdyś było czyste i autentyczne. Kucharz korzysta tu wyłącznie z regionalnych, a nawet samodzielnie wyhodowanych produktów. Są one nieskażone żadną chemią. Po prostu są eko. W menu można znaleźć potrawy, do których wykorzystano między innymi oliwę z oliwek „flor de sal”, figi, chleby świętojańskie, pomarańcze, grzyby, bakłażany czy super smaczne pomidory.
Wybierając miejsca na wakacje zawsze sprawdzam czy jest tam miejsce do ćwiczeń. Pomimo urlopu nie odpuszczam sobie treningów. Ponieważ jestem totalnym freakiem treningi są krótsze i mniej intensywne, ale nie wyobrażam sobie nie poruszać się choć przez godzinę. W tym hotelu jest możliwość skorzystania z dwóch basenów (pływanie świetnie kształtuje sylwetkę) oraz siłowni.

Portugal is my second home. Here I have wonderful friends, family. However, what I love Portugal for is great beaches, beautiful nature and places that delight with their architecture and cuisine. Such is Faro and Vila Monte Farm House.
Portugal is like an open book to me. Every time I am there, I get to know her again, discover new and intriguing places. Places where not only you can catch a moment of breath, recharge your batteries, but above all try delicious regional cuisine. One such place Vila Monte Farm House (click HERE) – a fantastic hotel located 25 kilometers from Faro.
As the name suggests, the hotel is something like agritourism. The owners, in addition to a high-class hotel, with access to swimming pools, gyms and even a private boat run their own vegetables and fruit. Vila Monte Farm House delighted me with its unique atmosphere. In search of breath, you can go to a virtually deserted beach or get lost in the maze of gardens.
Hotel owners attach great importance to maintaining a balance between nature and the vibrant city of Faro, which is nearby. The location of the hotel in the southern part of Algavre is definitely helpful, where the area is harsh and not damaged by excessive interference from people. It was here that once there were wonderful, small fishing villages, and the inhabitants lived peacefully and at their own pace. For this reason, Vila Monte is noteworthy. Here, time flows differently, thanks to wonderful people and beautiful, wild nature.
This hotel is definitely a great place for those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city during their holidays. It is a place where in the restaurant A Terra you can take a journey to human roots, to what was once pure and authentic. The chef uses only regional and even self-grown products. They are not contaminated with any chemicals. They are simply eco. In the menu you can find dishes that were used, among others, flor de sal olive oil, figs, carob, oranges, mushrooms, eggplants and super tasty tomatoes.
If you are looking for a place in the middle of nowhere, but with access to wonderful Portuguese beaches, I recommend Vila Monte Farm House (click HERE). Rest here in very comfortable rooms, eat delicious, regional dishes prepared with heart and with the utmost care.
